medicaldevicemachining.com is an independent sourcing operation based in southern Vietnam. We connect medical device companies in the US, Europe, Japan, Korea and Singapore with CNC machine shops in Vietnam that fit the part, and we stay in the loop until the lot ships.
What we do
- Review your drawing and requirements, under mutual NDA on request
- Match the RFQ to shops with the right machines, material sourcing and inspection
- Return a response within 24 business hours with pricing, lead time and DFM notes
- Arrange samples, FAI, customer audits and the documentation package
- Check the paperwork against your purchase order before each shipment
What we do not do
- We do not own machines; the matched shop machines your parts
- We do not hold FDA registration, ISO 13485 or any regulatory approval, and claim none
- We do not design, validate, clean, sterilize or register medical devices
- We do not reuse your drawings or share them with shops that are not assigned to your RFQ
- We do not take phone calls; everything is in writing so it can be filed
How shops are vetted
A shop enters the network only after we have reviewed its machine list, inspection equipment, material purchasing (mill certificates to heat number), traveler and lot records, and a sample of its FAI reports. Where a shop holds a quality system certificate, we ask for a copy and you can verify it with the issuing registrar. Where it does not, we say so plainly and you decide whether it fits your supplier controls.
Southern Vietnam, around Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Dong Nai, has a growing base of precision machine shops that export to the US, Europe and Japan. The reason to use a sourcing service rather than cold-emailing shops is simple: the shop that fits a titanium bone screw trial is rarely the one that fits a PEEK diagnostic manifold, and a wrong match costs you weeks.
Your regulatory responsibility stays with you
The device maker owns design controls, verification and validation, biocompatibility, cleaning and sterilization validation, labeling, UDI and every regulatory submission.
